Maxine's BD: Vacations in Hungary
...Where young P. gets acquainted with her paternal grand-mother.
Good heavens! This is fantastic. I've just hada chance to enjoy most of your posts from the past year. It's like Lynda Barry and Sark had a tempermental lovechild!I find your work really exciting, and I look forward to following along.
"BD" means "comics" in French; this is where I will tell my alter-ego's (mis)adventures, aka "Maxine's Comics."
Why the name "Maxine"?
Many years ago, when I had some bookwriting ambitions, I thought that "Maxine Sellers" would be a really cool pen name... Surely, any person named Maxine would be smart, efficient, self-confident, even successful... (There is no relation between this comics and another series with a similar name.)
VERY GOOD!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, as always! Can't wait to find out what happened next ....
ReplyDeleteThis is GREAT! I can't wait to see more!
