Maxine's BD: Things As They Are
...Where P. reflects on the causes of her frustration. (ca. 04-04)
I think we dislike reality eh? So do I, at least some of it. So I disappear into my art and it seems you do that too. People are clickish wherever they are. Too bad for them - they could have us for friends if they'd be nicer! Your second lady figure came out really good. She really looks like her arm is pointing my way.
"BD" means "comics" in French; this is where I will tell my alter-ego's (mis)adventures, aka "Maxine's Comics."
Why the name "Maxine"?
Many years ago, when I had some bookwriting ambitions, I thought that "Maxine Sellers" would be a really cool pen name... Surely, any person named Maxine would be smart, efficient, self-confident, even successful... (There is no relation between this comics and another series with a similar name.)
